QUESTIONS ABOUT DOWNLOADING VIDEOS FROM WEB PLAYERS
How can I download YouTube link with IDM? When I try it, IDM downloads a web page instead.
This happens because you try to download Youtube link with IDM directly. It is impossible. You need to open this link in your browser and start playing a video in a web player. Then IDM will show a video download panel near top right corner of the web player. Click on it to start your download.
The same relates to all other videos from any website.
