"very fast downloading"
Internet Download Manager really deserves its' name. At first I couldn't believe it! They said that my download speed would be fastened to 500%. But my actual speed is fastened even to 600%. For me, as adsl internet user, it really was a problem to download something. Since i have got IDMan, everything is easier. Once you'll have tested it, you won't be able to live your "INTERNET LIFE" without it. It is the best download software and fulfills what it promises. My conclusion: "Who doesn?t test it, misses one of the greatest internet software ever!

"Super Fast Downloading Speed and User friendly Interface"
Super Fast Downloading Speed and User friendly Interface makes IDM the most popular internet download manager in the world. It's currently the #1 file downloading software in the market with an affordable price and free future updates. I'm amazed to see the speed of IDM, it really downloads files at a 5X speed. You can even download YouTube Videos at that high speed and enjoy the internet. IDM makes playing with the net easy and enjoyable, and that's what keeps it ahead of other Internet Download Managers

"Way Cool! passwords, multithreads, recover/resume"
This is slick. After one use I paid and registered. I had tried several dozen times to download a 6 meg file from a flakey site. Kept stopping part-way thru. Tried other download managers. Either did not handle password protection or did not help. This product ROCKS! It started nine connections with a graphic view of where in the file each started. When a faster connection caught up to where the next connection started, it found the largest remaining gap and started in the middle of it. SLICK

"GREAT PRODUCT"
I've been using this with my 56k modem. Usually my downloads are really slow and only download at the most 5.5k/s. I've tried just about every download accelerator and every single one actually slowed my connection down. This one DOUBLED it. I'm not even exaggerating. Sometimes it even downloads at speeds up to 17.5k/s. I'M VERY HAPPY

VERY HAPPY USER!

"PERFECT!!!!!"
THE only download manager you're ever need! So easy to use, it's child's play. Just configure the way you want, and start downloading. Does slow down if you have more than one file, or if you browse the web. My only dislike; it's only for 60 DAYS!!! Like someone wrote earlier, if any registered user would not mind sharing their file, please email ASAP!!! GTWAT66@HOTMAIL.COM

"A 200 percent boost"
Well, I am not going to exaggerate in this review. This tripled my download speed, giving nice, fast downloads. From 20KB/S, I moved up to 60KB/S - the promised speed on my DSL connection. Well, not exactly, but this is a powerful accelerator, so download it. A note to 56K and downwards users, do not bother trying this. It is unlikely that it will boost your connection, but if it does, e-mail me with your RWIN, TTL, MTU settings and I'll reconsider my opinion. To get these settings, download Morpheus Internet Accelerator on this site, and tell me in your e-mail the settings you see in your manual 1 and 2 screens. Remember, only e-mail me if you see an improvement. My e-mail address gamedude2001@ic24.net

"It does what it is supposed to do"
I have tried at least 10 of the more popular download managers. Most do not do what they claim to do, and in fact are no better than IE's generic manager. Too many of the managers have pop-up ads and spyware, which I find objectionable, offensive and counter effective. IDM however has given me anywhere from a 10% to 300% download speed boost depending on the site. The slowest came from Autodesk, and the fastest was from Norton Anti virus updates. I'll keep trying it, and if I find it continues to deliver, then I will definitely buy it.

"WOW"
Something that was going to take me 30 or so hours of constant reconnections on my own, and possibly having to start over, will now be done in about 6 hours WITHOUT my attention.. Awesome!

"Kicks DAP+'s butt!!"
This is way better than Download Accelerator Plus. It's 2-3 times faster than it. I would recommend it to anyone who wants faster download speeds.

"Great Speed and an easy interface for any new or advanced user to get comfy with."
I really enjoyed this new Internet Download manager, its incredibly fast and very easy to use. It has virus scanning which is a very good option, but its lacking some controls for the downloads. I really found this product is better than GetRight, and far better than Download accelerator. If your on 56k this is a must if you download lots of files.

"very fast downloading"
I've been testing this product for a month on my Windows XP box. I should say it's really something. IDM works rock stable, it's easy to use and LIGHTING FAST. It's much better that all other download managers I've used so far. It's a MUST HAVE tool. If you don't use it, you miss it. If you use it, downloading works like a charm.

"WOW!!! That's Fast...."
This is the first download manager I have ever used or written about, but I do have to tell you I am impressed with it. I downloaded a 11.38 MB file from cakewalk.com in 25 minutes instead of 47 minutes with a 56K modem! I couldn't believe how fast it did it. I don't have a lot of time to waste because of my work schedule and family. I would recommend this program to anyone. The only complaint about this product is that you can't really surf the net while downloading a file or program, cause it slows down the downloading of the sites, but at these speeds, do you really care? I know I don't. It also has the same resume download capabilities as Go!zilla and Get Right. So try it out, it's worth every second of the time you take to download it.

"Simple, easy to use, with the features you need."
I like this program for 2 reasons. 1) It's simple. It isn't loaded with unnecessary things like Go!Zilla is. I like how Go!Zilla works, but it's ridiculous for it to be skinned like it is and have so many features. It's only a download manager. This program has what you need, and does it well. 2) It's got everything you need. It has the download Drag and Drop target, which is nice, and manual url adding. The program looks very nice, and finished. Being a fellow programmer, I applaud a program that looks nice. In reference to speed, the reviewers who said it drastically increased speed, I'm not sure why you would experience such an increase. However, on my 28.8 connection, I did see a marginal increase. But speed also depends on the server. I'm downloading at a constant 3.5 kb/s usually. The keyword is constant. Usually my speed jumps around and settles down at 2.5 kb/s or so. Only regrets of this program is that it's not free, and that I wish there was a way to only use 2 maximum connections per file instead of 4 being the minimum... or maybe even only one connection. I realize multiple connections speeds up downloads for people with faster connections, but for me it makes very little difference... All in all, a nice program. I think i'll be sticking with this one as my weapon of choice. I recommend it.

"Supreme if you don't have a net mouse"
I have an awesome mouse that has two wheels and four keys. Two keys are for navigating back and fourth between previous pages, the second scroll wheel scrolls horizontally. This browser does not support any of this. This is my only complaint. IE does, but Opera doesn't either. Overall awesome product with some nice looking (Sci-fi, Lycos) skins.

Sean

"A very nifty little download manager with almost no downsides at all. Definetly worth a download."
Most of us people usually tend to use download managers such as GoZilla and Download Accellerator wich both are quite alright aside from the fact that they are so called "ad-wares" wich means that they constantly bug you with a very annoying banner. IDM however, does not and therefor I find it to be one of the most userfriendly programs I've seen. The user interface does not differ that much from the two previously mentioned DM's and personally I think that those animated buttons are great. The only thing that bugs me though is the somewhat "uncool" tray icon....

BaKa!

"Amazing! Incredible!"
I couldn't believe this! I d/l it with great skepticism, and normally don't add comments to programs. But, this thing rocks!!! I was downloading the latest Opera when I read this. I d/l this program, installed it and ran it. I decided to test the speed and started it d/l the same file from the same location. It is a 12MB download. When I started the d/l, Internet Explorer had d/l 73% of the file already. This program had the file d/l, opened and installed and IE was only up to 83%!!!! Unreal! I wish I had had this earlier when I d/l a 33MB service pack update from Borland for my Delphi 6!!! Don't think twice - get this program!

"MUST HAVE"
People, this is a must have. I am a step up from novice and it is great... Thank you staff.... I prefer this over D.A.P. because it does NOT have a ads window in it which decreases bandwidth... I am seeing rates from 2.0 to 10.0KB/sec.... I have dial up modem....Rare occassion, rates to 15.0KB/sec.... I would really listen to the people who give this HIGH marks....They know what there talking about....I have made this my default manager....Try it, you will love it.

Jim

"fast, comfortable, stable and no-ads"
Everynight I use IDM to download anime episodes 1 by 1, IDM could power-off my PC when it's done. And the anime is ready when I wake up. IDM is nearly perfect, I don't need another download manager anymore. Note: It's possible to change the file name when you download a file. But it would ask if you want to use the original filename when you resume a download. It's bad when you schedule the files 1 by 1. As the user is AFK and the download would stop. So if you want to change the filename, do it manually when the download is completed. Also, my DSL ISP tends to cut my internet connection at early morning. If the download is not completed, IDM would just trying to resume until I wake up. I think it would be a good idea if they add a option [power-off computer when lost connection: timeout (15min)]

"OMG"
When I read the description on this programme I went "yea right". Did I get a shock. I was downloading files from a server in the US at about 18k/per sec and was getting really bored so I thought lets see what this prog can do. I installed it and tried again OMG 80.7k download speed, thats more than a 400% increase. I've used the programmes before that claim to do this and that and all they are is just a lot of hot air, but this thing actually does what it say's it can do. If your line says it can download at xxx per sec then this programme will do it. Try it like I did and you won?t ever go back to any other way to download.
